I am happy to announce that 150 IDOT “Snowbirds” voted 24 to 1 in favor of becoming 330 Teamsters.

The seasonal employees shall now receive full Union representation. 

Some of the benefits secured in the newly ratified Contract include:

· 1st year 3.4% increase       
· 2nd  year 5.6% increase

· Two (2) year call back rights

· Grievance procedure which will ensure fairness

· Seniority rights

· And more
