Local 330 Welcomed Illinois State Senator Michael Noland and Other Special Guests to our April 2, 2012 “Special Pension Meeting”
Local 330’s "Special Pension Meeting" conducted for State Employees on April 2, 2012 was well attended and enjoyed by all members.
Senator Michael Noland (22nd District) who has been appointed to the Illinois State Pension Reform Committee, provided insight and shared his views regarding the current status of the Illinois Pension fund(s) with our members.
Mr. Mike Ciaccio, Political Director of Teamsters Joint Council 25, provided in depth information explaining how Teamsters Joint Council 25 monitors Federal and State legislation, seeking to support legislation that is advantageous to Teamsters, and of course how it attempts to defeat any new legislation that would adversely affect Teamsters.
Mr. Robert Trappe, Teamster Democrat, Republican, Independent, Voter, Education (D.R.I.V.E.) Representative, explained in detail how the D.R.I.V.E. Program works to protect all Teamsters.
The “Special Pension Meeting” was extensive, informative and truly enjoyable.
